The Orleans Energy Committee and CIRenew are co-sponsoring a panel discussion from 6:30 to 8 pm at Snow Library in Orleans (67 Main Street) featuring local experts discussing energy efficiency and renewable energy options. Speakers include:

Briana Kane, Cape Light Compact – efficiency

Conrad Geyser, Cotuit Solar – solar thermal

Andrew Wade, MyGeneration Energy – solar PV

Chris Powicki, WEEinfo Services – bioenergy and air/ground-source heat pumps

Each panelist will discuss technologies and programs focusing on benefits, cost savings, and installation costs, as well as tax incentives and rebates. Time will be available for attendees to ask specific questions regarding their own homes.
