My Generation Energy has installed well over 15,000 solar panels, on rooftops and elegantly designed ground-mounted structures in over 23 towns and villages in Southeastern Massachusetts. That’s over 16 miles of solar panels stacked end to end, enough to completely line both sides of the Cape Cod Canal.
With so many solar panels already installed and more being installed all the time, we thought it would be nice to periodically showcase a handful of local towns. Below you’ll see solar updates for Bourne, Barnstable and Orleans.
Orleans Solar Update
Solar Power Rising in Orleans – From the Orleans Marketplace to many local homeowners, My Generation Energy customer solar installations in Orleans have now produced 665,347 kWh. To put it in perspective that’s enough to power 87 Massachusetts’ homes for one year. A strong contribution and summer has only just begun.
Bourne Solar Update
Beating the Heat in Bourne with Solar – My Generation Energy customers in Bourne have generated some serious solar, enough to power 2 stadiums and 175 houses for a day.
Barnstable Solar Update
Shine on Barnstable – My Generation Energy clients in Barnstable, residents and businesses, have produced over 1.69 million kilowatt hours of solar (aka 1,690,000,000 watts). That’s enough to power over 281,397 fans for a day – pretty cool stuff!
