Michael Stone, Policy & Regulations Manager for My Generation Energy, Inc., has been named one of the five Solar Caucus Representatives for the Massachusetts Distributed Generation Working Group.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities “the goal of the Working Group … is to determine what changes should be implemented to ensure an efficient and effective interconnection process that will foster continued growth of distributed generation in Massachusetts.” Key stakeholders represented include: the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, the four investor-owned utilities, co-generation providers, wind developers as well as customers and cities. The Group’s final report, a detailed description of areas of agreement and areas to further address, will be delivered in September following a series of technical sessions and stakeholder meetings.
