My Generation Energy is sponsoring one of the Cape’s premier charity events, the 25th Annual Figawi Charity Ball. The event takes place the weekend prior to the 40th Annual Figawi Race. Being a part of this sponsorship gives us the opportunity to support local organizations on Cape Cod and Nantucket.
What began as a friendly sailing competition in the 1970s is now a 3-day event between Hyannis & Nantucket. The Figawi Race is internationally recognized as a top sailing event. Race Weekend (May 28th – 30th 2011) kicks off the the Cape Cod and Nantucket summer season. Over 240 boats from different states participate, and over 3,000 people attend this event.
In addition, the Figawi Charity Ball is a great means of giving back to local communities. On May 21, 2011, My Generation Energy will offer their contributions to deserving groups at this charity event.
